About
Phillip is a photographer based in Washington DC. Originally from the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, he has since resided in New York City, Ireland, China, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan via various fellowship and grant programs including Princeton in Asia and U.S. Fulbright. His work has appeared in U.S. News and World Report, ABC News, Politico, Lonely Planet Magazine, and China Daily. In addition to travel, portrait, and wedding photography, Phillip has taken on pro-bono assignments for numerous NGOs such as Asia Catalyst and Babushka Adoption. When not planning his next international adventure (likely to India), he can be found reading some stuffy, long-winded 19th century novel about beleaguered yet persevering British women.
